Scooters are a great option for getting you to and from campus or across campus for a class or meeting. Multiple companies have scooter operations on campus. It is important for you to take the time to learn University rules and how to ride scooters safely.
We want all members of the campus community to be safe. When riding a scooter it is your responsibility to know and obey the rules of the road.
Please review University Policy FIN-INS-13 Bicycles, Scooters and Other Personal Conveyance Vehicles before riding a scooter on campus.

| Obey all rules of the road, including traffic signs and signals. |
| Don't ride on sidewalks. When riding on the street utilize designated bike lanes. |
| Yield to pedestrians and be prepared to stop. |
| Keep your eyes up and an ear free. You need to be able to see and hear what’s happening around you. |
| Always wear a helmet. |
Scooters are allowed and encouraged to park at bike racks. Parking is prohibited in pedestrian pathways leading to buildings, vehicle parking spaces, ADA ramps, or inside buildings.
