For campus affiliates and volunteers to be eligible for a parking permit they will need to obtain a verification letter from the associated department or school.
Campus Affiliates
- Employee Affiliate – An individual who performs work duties on campus, but is not paid by the University or IU Health.
- Student Affiliate – An individual who is on campus in a student capacity, but is not registered as an IU Indianapolis student.
Volunteer
Individuals performing volunteer work on campus are eligible to purchase a parking permit. Criteria for issuance of a permit is:
- Department authorization letter verifying volunteer work with timeframe of need.
- No other affiliation with any IU campus.
- Not paid for volunteer services.
