The OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon will be held on Saturday, May 3. Set-up for the race may affect traffic on major streets Friday evening and the Saturday event will greatly affect both traffic and parking on campus.
Parking lots and garages will be open to permit holders. Please show your parking permit to any lot attendants. If you need access to the track, NIFS, the Natatorium, NCAA, Eskenazi Hall (Herron), State Museum, Sports garage, Riverwalk garage, or Lot 86 you must park north of New York Street.
Beginning at approximately 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, the southwest corner of lot 85 will close for television coverage of the mini-marathon.
The Riverwalk and Sports Complex garages as well as Lot 86 will not be accessible from 9:00 p.m. on Friday, May 2 through Saturday, May 3 at 2:00 p.m.
Please be aware of the following road closures:
- New York Street (from University Boulevard to West Street) will be closed beginning Friday, May 2 at 6:00 p.m. through Saturday, May 3 at 4:00 p.m.
- New York Street (from White River Parkway to Blackford Street) will be closed beginning Saturday, May 3 at 5:30 a.m. through 4:00 p.m.
- Ohio Street (from Qualmish Avenue to Blackford Street) will be closed beginning Saturday, May 3 at 5:30 a.m. through 2:00 p.m.
- California Street (south of Vermont Street) will be closed beginning Friday, May 2 at 6:00 p.m. through Saturday, May 3 at 4:00 p.m.
- Wabash Street (from University Boulevard to Blackford Street) will be closed beginning Saturday, May 3 at 5:30 a.m. through 2:00 p.m.
- Blackford Street (south of Vermont Street) will be closed beginning Saturday, May 3 at 5:30 a.m. through 2:00 p.m.
- Michigan Street (from Porto Alegre westbound) will be closed beginning Saturday, May 3 at 7:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m.
- Porto Alegre Street (North and Southbound lanes from Michigan Street to Limestone Street) will be closed beginning Saturday, May 3 at 7:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m.
- Limestone Street (North and Southbound lanes from Porto Alegre Street to New York Street) will be closed beginning Saturday, May 3 at 5:30 a.m. through 4:00 p.m.
- Lansing Street (North and Southbound lanes from about the 400 block of Lansing Street to New York Street) will be closed beginning Saturday, May 3 at 5:30 a.m. through 4:00 p.m.
- West Street (between Michigan Street and Washington Street) will be closed beginning Saturday, May 3 at 2:00 a.m. through 2:00 p.m.
